Other day used my Stop & Shop card at one of their gas stations. With the point bonus, got gas @ $3.14. Amazing to think that that is such a bargain.

Hope you guys have a fantastic time at Danforth Bay. Cannot wait to see the pictures of the costumes. George and I will be at Deer Run again this year. I think George is dressing up...not sure yet if I am. I have to try my outfits on to see if they still fit or figure out something new. lol I have been dieting and dropped 30 pounds so far since the beginning of June. Falling out of everything.
Take lots of pictures guys!!!! Can't wait to see what Steve & Liz come up with this year. You two are the best. lol

I need A/C for my wifes asthma and my being hot. I can do without cable, sewer even water, but not elec.
I am the same way with my asthma. Too hot and I can't breathe.

As you know, we were on that row next to the field during the rally (original sight bit the big one so we moved lol). Would have been perfect for the mid summer because we were the only ones in that area. Only time I seen the pavilion being used was for the afternoon bingo game and the band/dance saturday night. The field had saturday afternoon horseshoe tournament. We seen them set up for a bonfire for saturday night but it must have been cancelled due to the storm that hit, because it was still there sunday morning.
But I must say, being right next to that wide open field, gives you one hell of a view of a lightning storm as it hits. Not that I would want one during the rally but it was awesome. lol
The bad thing about that row is, if we cannot have the large firepit, we would need to designate a spot for the community. Problem is on those two rows they do not allow the firepits to be moved. Making it hard to sit around seeing how they are tucked in a corner of the sites.

havent heard back from the campground about 10%... they were suppose to call back tonight.. but will know more tomorrow... and that is all I know...*LOL*
I don't know what their problem is in regard to the 10% discount. I already received the discount when I booked. For anyone that already paid previously before the 10% kicked in, all the need to do is return the person the cash. It doesn't have to go back on the credit card, just give'em the money. lol

Should have named the dog Bubba, it's always getting itself in trouble and passes gas at will.
You are too funny Steve............and so true.
I would let you use the dog gates that we have but our two silkies will be in it.lol Could not get George's son to babysit the little ones so they are coming with us. Where you are bringing your dog, I will be sure to leave my two back in the camper. Can't seem to get them to be quiet around other dogs.

Hoping for very clear skies this weekend.........but just in case nature doesn't agree........We will have our 10x20 with us.
Mike, would you like me to bring the warming trays like I had at the last Mini-Me Rally to keep the hot foods that people will be bringing warm? I have 3 trays that will keep 6 items warm.
Let me know before Friday so that I pack them.

Just called in and confirmed my reservation and paid for our Thursday night S-3 site...mentioned the discount for 10 sites and she wasn't sure how I would get that back, guess we'll find out.

Slight change of plans. I was reading the brochure and after seeing what we would pay to come in as a guest, for that, we might as well go camping. lol
So I just booked the rally!
George and I will be arriving at Waubeeka on Friday and leave Sunday. Arrival time on Friday depends on if I can get a half day off at work. Very strong possibility of that, but will know for sure tomorrow. We will be located on Site #I24 which is just before the A Frame cottage.
Hey Mike, If your list of who is already booked for the rally is up-to-date. We just became the 10th site for the rally. Everyone gets the 10% discount price. Mention the rally discount when you check in. You'll have a few dollars coming back to you. They gave me the discount price when I booked just now.
So happy that I am going!!!!

George will be up on Saturday early in the morning to meet up with Frank for a game of golf. I will be coming in around 11-12. All I gotta do is remember how to get there. Never drove there, always the passenger. lol

just picked a basically new treadmill yesterday for free, so making room for it in the so called gym I have here *LOL*
I had the same luck here also Mike. Told George that I was planning on buying an exercise bike to work out on here at home. He went online and was checking out CraigsList for a exercise bike. Found a Proform Crosstrainer Recumbent bike "for free". People lived near Jersey never used it anymore because they started going to the gym instead. Drove down there and picked it up. Well worth the gas it took to get it. Back reclines to a bench and came with 3 sets of weights. $300.00 bike for free.........I'll take it. Been on it ever since.
Now I have my eyes out for a rowing machine in excellent condition. Going to check out Craigslist and Freecycle. Have lots of weight to lose......14 down and more to go. lol

I mentioned it to George. Not definite yet for him, but we are talking about stopping up for the day on saturday to visit. I put the golf bug in his ear for you Frank. lol He can go golf, while I hang out with the gang. You two can go whack a few at UnderMountain which is not far from Waubeeka. lol
Mike/Jay. Is your pot luck on Saturday? What would you like me to bring? Last thing I will do is show up empty handed.
